- The plaintiff says the defendant is her mother’s boyfriend, and she claims he assaulted her minor sister when her mom was out of town. She’s suing for defamation and harassment. The defendant insists he’s been a strong father figure and denies the assault. He’s countersuing for defamation.

But the statistics of children being molested and assaulted by non-related males are by far the highest, so I am just particularly concerned about that for kids. Especially when the person is the spouse. Kids are way less likely to tell a parent that his/her spouse is abusive.
I just wanted to give the baby sister a hug! Mom shouldn't have left her with that man. It's just inappropriate and unsafe.

I dunno I feel like if something did happen with that other man, they wouldnt be acting so calm in court or wouldnt be talking so soft. And the dad is certainly not a good person either, all he can say for "taken good care of my daughter" at the end is..."I've paid". Is that all you can say really because then thats not taking good care of your daughters. I feel like she is being used by her father and sister against the mother and her man. Stating somebody hurt a minor is such an easy way of destroying the other person, cause most people would not take it upon themselves to determine if the minor is lying about such a serious thing. Most people would immediately believe it...especially considering the genders at play here, older man abusing minor girl, 85% of people would never have the initial doubt that it could be either fake or overexaggerated against the man.
Although, the younger daughter could view the tape later, JM should have sent her out of the court room. The plaintiff is PATHETIC.

Child support doesn't fully support children. The money is only a portion of the components to adequately raise a child but you also have to emotionally, mentally, and physically support the child. Smfh people think Child support really helps a kid flourish as a well adjusted human. Sad

@Keyonna Crum I've seen disrespectful kids that are nothing like the parents who raised them. A child can be rebellious for whatever reason. There are some kids who will never accept anyone dating their mom especially if the dad is still alive and it really has nothing to do with how they were raised. When my dad started making money he went and created a new family but none of my siblings and I rebellious. Looking back I think if my sisters were the oldest they would've been very rebellious towards our dad. Even though he created another family he raised his kids the best way possible as a father. He passed away unexpectedly last year and left his kids more than 20 million dollars of his wealth. My mother never divorced him even with all his dirt.
I believe that he really did choke the little sister and probably beat in her to. It’s weird that the mom just left her daughter there with him like that.

Just like anyone who is guilty of an action would say. Another reason why I believe the little girl is because she can’t even look at him without crying.

No honestly. I don’t want to discredit anybody but I don’t think that man put his hands on that child. Yeah she was crying in court but that’s probably because all their credibility went out the window. I don't feel she did. Biblically he is about to be the head of the household meaning that her children will eventually become after him. Some women never learn that and always put their kids in front of the husband which causes huge problems in the marriage down the line.

Being a step parent is hard. Been helping my boyfriend taking care of his daughter for years. I love her and treat her like my own. Mother does the bare minimum. Daughter has been living with us. I’ve been there through everything. When her mom stands her up she cries on my shoulder. But it doesn’t matter how much I do and how much im here for her. When her mom feels a type of way the daughter projects it on me giving me attitude. It’s heartbreaking 💔. And when I say bare minimum I’m giving too much credit. She has no responsibility and claims the baby on her taxes that she keeps to herself, but the baby been living with us for years. She don’t support her financially nor physically. If I watched this before I had this situation I would of been on the daughters side but now I know. They should be greatful what a slap in the face for stepfather.

I don’t believe the defendant put his hands on that girl. The plaintiff is lying. You mean to tell me, another man puts his hands on your daughter and you did nothing. Something’s fishy. I think this was set up by the bio dad so that way he can have custody of the daughter so that he doesn’t have to pay child support. However, the case was very contradicting. She said the step dad was crap but her Father’s Day letter said otherwise.

Initially, based on the defendant doing all that snickering, that gave me the impression that he may be guilty of some or all of the plaintiff’s claims. But as the case went on, her credibility just got weaker and weaker... to she now looks to be the liar. Feel bad for the sister. And I also believe that the “father” still gives negative vibes. Giving “$1500” monthly in child support, don’t mean that you’ve “taken care of your daughter”.

There’s a lot of mixup here. However, when two daughters side with their biological father over their mother, it speaks volumes. There were clearly problems with their marriage. The new man seems to think that his involvement was so great that it put the biological father to shame. But it didn’t. The biological father is composed as can be.
Lastly, something clearly happened between the younger sister and so called stepfather. That’s what made them turn against him. What mother leaves behind their daughter and travels to another country. That man could have done anything to the girl.
Where does the bio dad work. $1,500.00 in child support is enough to take care of the girls unless it was an unexpected emergency that came up and they go to public school. I'm glad they didn't deny that.

He is in a hard position because as many stepparents can attest, it is hard trying to discipline someone else's kids especially in their teenage years. I believe that when mother was away, he probably asked her to do something and because she didn't want to do it and because he is not her father, she made up some crazy story to make him look bad. It is evident with the older sister's post. He was a good guy.
I believe the stepfather. The oldest daughter stopped liking him for a reason and she's trying to do whatever it takes to take him down for something. If I'm the step-dad I would get away from this situation fast. Next they'll be saying he molested the youngest daughter. No amount of love is worth this craziness
