Dead Frontier is a free browser based Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game created by Neil Yates of Jagged Blade Games. It deals with the aftermath of a zombie outbreak. Players can have human characters, while all zombies are AI controlled. As of December 19th, there are 24835 registered users.
Gameplay
editTo enter the game, a player selects the "Inner City" option from the outpost menu. A menu is then displayed with single and multiplayer options. After selecting one of these, the game begins. You start outside Nastya's outpost, and venture into the city, while zombies spawn from offscreen. There are several dead bodies and broken down cars that litter the street. These can be searched for items such as ammunition and food. The speed of zombies is determined by the amount of aggro you have. The aggro level is determined by the noise of your gun. eg. a shotgun or chainsaw generates allot of aggro, while a knife generates virtually none.

editThere are several types of enemies.
The Kid Zombie - 12 EXP
A small zombie with noticeably less power than others. Because of their small size, they are much more affected by knockback effects than other zombies.
The Female Zombie - 18 EXP The usual female zombie is quite a common appearance on the streets of Fairview. Even though they retain nothing of their former beauty, female zombies make that up with fast and fierce attacks.
The Naked Female Zombie - 18 EXP Mostly identical to the female zombie, but naked. Some say that they are more likely to run / sprint than the usual female zombie and are as such generally seen as a greater threat.
The Male Zombie - 18 EXP Much tougher than the female and kid zombies, because they are less affected by knockback and deal more damage. Their additional muscle mass enables them to take a lot of punishment, so beware male zombies if you are not certain who will win in a fight with one.
The Female Fat Zombie - 24 EXP Slightly weaker than a male fat zombie, identifiable by the blue hat it wears. Fat zombies are very resistant to knockback and weak hits such as a non-critical chainsaw or knife hits which won't interrupt its attacks nor be be able to stop them once they're coming for you.
