I wanted to draw something for my mom, since she's was wondering why haven't I have drawn any Pikachu's for her... So I did, then after giving her the solo pic of Pikachu, I decided to add the rest... and I am pleased with it!
Here's to the beginning!

I loved when Pokemon had only 151 pokemon, now it's to bloody complicated, I think I like ONE from each generation, but with the exception of Houndour no one replaced Squirtle. (Used to be able to beat the game with just blastoise and Houndour [I don't let him evolve] But now the games make you use wierd pokemon types I don't train. =_= Took forever to beat Black and I'm still not done)
151 is the immaculate number to any Pokémon fanatic!
I can never give enough credit to my best Duo on the 1st Gen, which was Blastoise and Machoke (Glad to know he couldn't evolve unless traded)!
For 2nd Gen my trio were Feraligatr, Lugia and Elekid.
For 3rd Gen my duo were Swampert, and Kyogre.
For 4th Gen my trio were Empoleon, Electivire and Toxicroak.
And as my 5th Gen, the trio are Samurott, Darmanitan, and Simipour.
Now if someone else would read this, they know that I am screwed with a Grass/Electric pokémon if we were to battle...!

I usually use the few canines in pokemon (Houndour, Mightiena, Growlith) Cubone and marrowwhack, a bird which is usually Sperrow or Pigiotto, bear pokemon, usually ursaring my starters were Squirtal or charmander, Totodile, Treeco, tertwil, chimchar, or piplup, and tepig (Screw what everyone else says Tepig is awesome)
The point is, in any given game I usually have a mixed party and I keep them all the way threw and their levels are like 100 86 60 45 32 10 lol

Awesome pic there Shiro! I love the three Kanto starters, and Bulbasaur has a special place in my heart since he was my first Pokemon when I played Pokemon Red for the first time, and I was a Bulbasaur in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Blue Rescue team!
This is also well before they started making Fire/Fighting starters every time. What's wrong with a different dual type or even just a pure fire type starter!?

Nice! So its interesting to meet someone that has Bulbasaur as their starters! I respect you for that!
Fighting/Fire is getting somewhat annoying... But unlike the rest of the fire starters, Charmander was the worse to pick from the start and going against the 2nd trainer due to the fact that it didn't have anything to fight against her... So by adding secondary types to the rest of them would prevent the sudden one-sided battles from the start.
And actually, the only Generation to be one-types as starters from start to finish were the 2 Gen! (Including their evolutions)

Well, dual types aren't usually obtained until the later evolutions, so they make no real difference to the early fights. Besides, assigning some good early gyms eliminates that problem, and they did that in Black/White.
Ah, gen 2. My favourite Pokemon generation! I disagree with everyone who says the original 150 were the best, because Psychic types were the godly type in gen 1 due to having no real weakness anyone could exploit. It was only in gen 2 with the dark and steel types that they became balanced.

Indeed! But some peeps (like myself) would have the 1st or 2nd evolution by the time we hit the 2nd Gym trainer, due to the fact we wanted to grind and have powerful Pokémons to withstand the harsh travel from town to town. So the 2nd type could mess an easy battle with that new strength!
And not lying here, I would go as far as to say that the 2nd generation made Pokémon perfect for the fact like you said that it made it more balanced and the fact that its a "sequel" which not many other Pokémon games did... So I still say that the 151 is perfect, but I can extend the love to 252!
