Yeah, maybe there's some aspects of this that I can't disagree, but I prefer try my best not to have a bad view of her.

For me she's just mentally unstable at the moment, but is hard not to see that some of these aspects from her is there and has even passed to her children, like being egocentric, clearly in Tybalt, him being an asshole in some parts it's her fault. And Sage with her anger and agressiveness.
Sage and Tybalt are adults (if we can say it about Tybbie) and should make their own values and make their own decisions. Sage is doing great so far, but Tybalt ... it's his own fault for being a manchild.
Not sure Stephen is a wimp, i think he just checked out a long time before the story even started lol, he seems soooo over it from the very beginning

Imo sage with the wrong boyfriend like maybe chad but not gay could very much turn out exactly like jade 100%, building more and more silent resentment and regularly exploding. Its kinda what happened with chad in a "light" version already

Her "luck" on her route is that tremolo is like the 100% opposite to her, when she wants to build her walls up, he annoys her until the problems get drawn out and therefore a solution created. Hes kinda too endearing for her anger issues :ROFLMAO: and softens her up more and more until shes completly vulnerable

Thinking about it, i think Burke being a wimp would have been a better outcome for the marriage with jade than whatever fucked up kind of relationship they had
I mean Stephen is a coward and can't stand up for himself at all, and Jade is aggressive and dominant. This match was born in hell

MC is a very good boyfriend for her. Bro is immature in relationships, but he is learning. It is good that he can "open her up" so that Sage doesn't keep her feelings inside - she can open her soul and this leads to a dialogue where they solve their problems. Let it be difficult for Sage, at first annoying her that he can do it so easily as she says - but this is what she needs. They working great together and build a compromises, couple on their way to healthy relationships.

Not as much, but even on friend route, MC is a healthy and good friend for her. She starts to open up and self reflect upon herself and her actions and is growing significantly as a person too. She'll be much better in future relationships for it.

Proof that Sage is canonical girl ;)
I dunno, if you are not on Sage's route (and are responsible enough not to ditch your own party) then in the last episode she's basically gone, after the initial short scene where she's having her drunk moment. For that matter, so are pretty much the others, too.

It kinda made it look more like Fuckface and MGs are getting apart than closer, tbh.

Both are immature when it comes to relationships Sage spend years in a toxic relationship with a gay guy and MC only been in one and didn't really understand what was going on other then when he was pounding her z cord

Okay, let's check all possible scenes:
1. At the start after Patrick heist, MC comforting her about parents divorce
2. Phone call during first free roam
3. Second free-roam at HOTs house, talk to Sage
4. Bella party is not canon event, but fuck it, that party at DIKs sucks if you're not on the Others run.
Yes, but only until Cindy's big reveal in Episode 12. And we discover who was DPC's favorite all along. :)
Cindy will no have scene in Ep.12 (Change my mind) :p

But...but...but..Sage, you must understand, Zoey was the important part of my life, I want to be friends with her.
Zoey: pick me, pick me up:ROFLMAO:
Sage: *sarcastic* I told you...

Yeah thats what i meant (the second part) they complement each other great

i dont know if stephen is a coward, i had a gf like that for like half a year, theres no way to calm these women down once they are enraged if you dont want to beat women. The only solution (after trying countless times which i imagine stephen did too) is to just ignore it and walk away until you finally break up with the crazy lmao

Imagining this for 20+ years and being married is like the worst kind of torture imagineable

to me burke just seems utterly depressed and like he has barely any will left to live, his midlife crisis now feels like him trying to not drown one last time

hes a bastard and deserves it but his life is fucked lol

It's very interesting how when off their paths, Sage is probably MC's best (female) friend, but Maya is his closest friend.

He cares deeply for both of them, and they for him. If he still has feelings for Josy, he won't act on them because he cares for Maya too much. And if he is guilty about Jade, he doesn't want to lose Sage's friendship.

See, i didn't even remember any of that (like, the phone call? I'm honestly drawing a blank if there actually was one, or if it's something route-specific*) that's how short and/or of no consequence those interactions were. And your 1 and 4 are the ones i've listed, so those 4 points are literally entire presence in the episode. Which is... well, really little.

But this really applies to all of the MGs, and some of them you don't even get to exchange three sentences with at the HOT house.

edit:
*) or wait, do you perhaps by the phone call mean the call about Bella's party? Because, well, that's really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Sage and MC have a phonecall after the drama with the DIKs, which includes the Zoey argument when on her path.

It's the one where you get Chad's number

Ohh, thanks. Okay, so on the non-Sage play through this is utterly forgettable exchange of a few sentences. To the point where i genuinely forgot it's even there. It also has very little in terms of MC/Sage friendship since he basically calls her just to get her the number of her ex. So... yeah.
